Jewish Stories from Latin America class focusing Jewish writers from all over Latin America will now meet on ZOOM from 11:00 am-12:30 pm / coming right into your home, via computer or through phone!!
Esther Hexter will lead discussions with help from Erin Katz Ford [Jewish Community Board of Akron] running our zoom format.


Registration fee for Fall 2021 has been waived. 

No experience is required, just the desire to learn. New learners are always welcome.

Book for the year is Oy, Caramba! An Anthology of Jewish Stories from Latin America, edited by Ilan Stavans. Students provide own book. Stories originally written in Spanish, Portuguese, Yiddish and English are all in English translation. We will discover how Jewish Latin American writers think, feel and nurture their dreams.
